Dual Histogram Equalization Algorithm Based on Adaptive Image Correction

For the visual measurement of moving arm holes in complex working conditions, a histogram equalization algorithm can be used to improve image contrast. To lessen problems brightness shift, over-enhancement, and gray-level merging that occur with traditional algorithm, dual based on adaptive correction (AICHE) is proposed. prevent luminance shifts from occurring during equalization, AICHE protects average input by improving upon Otsu enabling it split histogram. Then, uses local grayscale correct over-enhancement arise algorithm. It experimentally verified significantly segmentation effect enhance contrast detail information while protecting image, thus quality increased.
